The Telegraph blows the lid on ‘Project Victoria‘:
Documents lodged at the High Court show [ECB head Giles] Clarke…will allege IMG and [Lalit] Modi held discussions with leading English counties over a secret plan to introduce an Indian Premier League-style Twenty20 competition involving franchises rather than counties and projected to be worth more than £1.2billion. Modi and IMG counter that by claiming Clarke has lied in court documents in a “desperate attempt to exculpate himself”, a claim Clarke denies.
Can’t hold Modi down, even in self-imposed exile.
