Actually, now that I think about it, which country hasn’t had a board squabble recently? England and Kevin Pietersen; West Indies and every West Indian; Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh…I hate to say this, because I think the BCCI is horribly greedy, incompetent and all-round awful (just saying), but it may just be a model of management. Incredible.

You (well, we) just have to make y(our) peace with the post-colonial inferiority. It’s there, it dictates much of our social consciousness, may as well deal with it and learn to work around it.
You might actually be on to something with the last bit. I just really don’t want to believe that the BCCI is good at anything, but that’s mostly because I want my hate of them to be entirely unfettered.
