Twenty20 at Mount Everest


Looks like the weather was better up there than in South Africa? From The Daily Mirror:

Last week, on April 9, two cricket teams, largely made up of bonkers Englishmen, flew from London to the Himalayas to begin an 18-day trek, where a Twenty20 game will be played near to base camp of Mount Everest – at a staggering 5,165m.

The world record was apparently set.  See:

    Thank god for T20 or they’d have been up there for hours toughing out a 50 over match.
