Seinfeld Does Cricket

This American Express ad is quite good, especially because it surprisingly features cricket and Jerry Seinfeld. Together. No joke.

Watch the 1990s absurdist comedian get caught behind and then unacceptably display dissent (I see a fine on the way).

The Seinfeld portion of the ad is an insult on cricket. The ad portrays famous (American) people and state their purposes in life. Jerry Seinfeld’s purpose is state as being the one to “point out the pointless”. He plays cricket while his purpose is stated. He says,”That was a wicked googly”. The portion in a not so subtle manner states that “cricket is a pointless sport”.
