IPL V. Liverpool
Two moments from today’s IPL matches:
1. During one of those ridiculous strategy breaks, a presenter announced the next round of H.E.A.T. scholarships (which I criticized in an earlier post). One kid was wearing a Liverpool jersey, so the presenter asks: “Which one’s better — Liverpool or Mumbai Indians?” The kid shouts back, “Liverpooool!” So much for IPL marketing.
2. Robin Jackman (I think), after a Kings XI Punjab fielder dropped yet another catch against the Delhi Daredevils today: “That’s a Citi moment of disaster.”
